Rep. Juan Vargas Votes NO on Republican Spending Bill

WASHINGTON - Today, U.S. Representative Juan Vargas (D-CA-52) released the following statement after voting no on the Republican spending bill. 

“I just voted NO on the Republican spending bill. In 2026, millions are going to lose their health care coverage and millions more will see their premiums rise as the ACA tax credits expire. Trump and Republicans created this health care crisis, and they haven’t shown any interest in solving it. In fact, they’ve used it to make things worse by trying to weaponize hunger and take food away from families. I will not support a bill that fails to address the Republicans' health care crisis and the skyrocketing premiums that millions of families are facing.”
