The Biden administration on Thursday rolled out a plan to expand health care access for beneficiaries of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
Under the plan, DACA recipients will become eligible to apply for Medicaid and to enroll in Affordable Care Act (ACA) insurance exchanges.
DACA beneficiaries are not currently eligible for those benefits because their immigration status does not meet the current definition of “lawful presence” required to enroll in Medicaid and the ObamaCare exchanges.

Washington, D.C. — Today, the Congressional Sustainable Investment Caucus released the following statement on H.J. Resolution 30, which repeals a Department of Labor rule allowing fiduciaries to consider ESG factors in investment decisions:
“We strongly oppose Republican efforts to overturn the Biden Administration’s rulemaking that gives retirement plan fiduciaries the option to consider environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors when they select retirement investments and exercise shareholder rights."

This legislation would update the Federal Credit Union Act to modify current federal requirements for federal credit union board meetings and alter requirements that credit union boards meet once per month to once every other month.
